Tragic Loss in Gagangir Terror Attack
Family’s Dreams Shattered
In Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Mohsin Shahnawaz Dar, the son of Dr. Shahnawaz Dar, expressed his sorrow over his father’s death in the Gagangir terror attack. Dr. Dar was among seven people killed in the attack. Mohsin shared that his father wanted him to become a doctor, but he aspired to be an IAS officer. Now, he must care for his family and seeks help from the administration to achieve his dream.
Attack Details
The attack occurred at a tunnel construction site on the Srinagar-Leh highway in Ganderbal district. Terrorists targeted laborers and staff returning to their camp. Alongside Dr. Dar, designer Sushant Abrol and six laborers lost their lives.
Condemnation and Investigation
NC President Farooq Abdullah condemned the attack, blaming Pakistan and urging an end to terrorism. He emphasized the need for peace and dignity in Jammu and Kashmir. A National Investigation Agency team is investigating the attack site.
