Dr. Ng’s visit emphasizes the strong bilateral defence relationship between the two nations. Singapore is a significant part of India’s Act East Policy and a key partner in the Indo-Pacific vision, contributing to regional stability.

The fifth Defence Ministers’ Dialogue was held virtually in January 2021. Dr. Ng’s current visit runs from October 21-23, 2024.
