Gwadar [Pakistan], July 18: Baloch rights activist Sibghat Abdul Haq Baloch has urged the Baloch community to unite and raise their voices against the ongoing Baloch Genocide. He emphasized the importance of continuing their struggle against the Pakistani state, despite increasing repression and suppression.

In a post on ‘X’, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) shared Haq’s message ahead of the Baloch Raaji Muchi. He appealed to everyone to join the fight against barbarism and genocide, stating that courage and determination are essential for their survival.

In a video message released before the Baloch National Gathering, Haq called for unity on July 28, urging everyone to show the Pakistani state that the Baloch are united and strong. He highlighted various issues faced by the Baloch community, including genocide, enforced disappearances, border closures, poor conditions for farmers, unemployment among fishermen, rampant drug supply chains, and the actions of death squads.

Haq also criticized the handover of Balochistan to China under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), comparing it to China’s control over Sri Lanka. He stated that Baloch resources are being exploited and many Baloch are being killed in disguised road accidents, all forms of genocide.

Prominent Baloch rights activist Mahrang Baloch also emphasized the need for unity, urging the Baloch to participate in the Baloch Raaji Muchi on July 28. She called it a historic opportunity to unite and prove their Baloch identity, putting aside all divisions and conspiracies.

She stated that if the Baloch community and land are to be saved, they must unite and take action, proving themselves as a living nation and showing the world that they will no longer tolerate genocide.
