In Bhadradri Kothagudem, Telangana, a significant 11-day havan is being conducted to support Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming US Presidential Elections. The event, named ‘Sri Raja Shyamalamba Sahita Shata Chandi Purvaka Sudarshana Maha Yagam,’ is organized by the Shyamala Gopalan Foundation at H Convention in Palvancha.

Details of the Ritual

Numerous Vedic and Chaturveda pundits are performing the yagam, which has reached its 10th day. The ritual is set to conclude with the ‘Purnahuti’ on the 11th day. Nalla Suresh Reddy, the foundation’s founder, noted an increase in Harris’s support since the ritual began. He stated, “Whatever will happen, will happen by the grace of God.”

Participation and Beliefs

Approximately 7,000 people are expected to participate, with 40 Vedic pandits leading the ritual. Daily, 500-1,000 people are fed as part of the event. Reddy emphasized the importance of faith, hoping for Harris’s victory.
