Shubman Gill Leads Team India to Victory Against Zimbabwe in T20I Series
Team India, led by Shubman Gill, won the five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe 4-1. Jay Shah, the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), congratulated the team for their solid all-round skills.

In the fifth match, Zimbabwe won the toss and chose to field. India was at 40/3 before a 65-run partnership between Sanju Samson (58 runs) and Riyan Parag (22 runs) helped them reach 167/6. Shivam Dube added a quick 26 runs. Blessing Muzarbani was the best bowler for Zimbabwe with 2/19.
During Zimbabwe’s chase, they started well but were eventually bowled out for 125 runs. Shivam Dube’s 2/25 and a crucial run-out of Zimbabwe’s captain Sikandar Raza turned the game. Mukesh Kumar took four wickets, cleaning up the tail.
Awards
Shivam Dube was named ‘Player of the Match’ for his all-round performance. Washington Sundar, who scored 28 runs and took eight wickets in the series, was awarded ‘Player of the Series’.
