The famous Shri Badrinath Dham in Uttarakhand, India, will close its doors for the winter season on November 17. The process begins with Panch Pujas starting on November 13. Ajendra Ajay, President of the Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC), will be present during the closing ceremonies.

Panch Pujas Schedule

On November 13, the first day of Panch Pujas, Lord Ganesha will be worshipped, and his doors will close in the evening. The following day, November 14, the doors of Adi Kedareshwar Temple and Shankaracharya Temple will close. On November 15, Khadga-Pustak Puja and Veda Richas recitation will stop. On November 16, Kadhai Bhog will be offered to Maa Lakshmi Ji.

Final Closure and Winter Arrangements

On November 17, the doors of Shri Badrinath Dham will close at 9:07 pm. The next day, the throne of Adi Guru Shankaracharya ji, along with Shri Kuber ji and Uddhav ji, will move to their winter residence in Pandukeshwar and Shri Nrisinha Temple, Joshimath. Shri Uddhav ji and Shri Kuber ji will stay in Pandukeshwar for the winter. On November 19, the throne of Adi Guru Shankaracharya ji will reach Shri Nrisinha Temple, Joshimath, where winter pujas will be held.
