Shivraj Singh Chouhan Unveils Four Inspiring Books with Dr. L. Murugan and Sanjay Jaju
Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan unveiled four books on Thursday. The books are titled Wings to Our Hopes, Volume 1 (in both English and Hindi), Rashtrapati Bhavan: Heritage Meets the Present, and Kahani Rashtrapati Bhavan Ki. The event was attended by Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan and Secretary Sanjay Jaju.
Chouhan highlighted that the books are a rich tapestry of the heritage of Rashtrapati Bhavan, a symbol of the Indian Republic. He noted that the compilation of former speeches by President Droupadi Murmu is a treasure trove for democracy and society. The speeches reflect President Murmu’s compassion towards all countrymen, including women, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other deprived classes, farmers, armed forces, and youth.
Chouhan expressed confidence that reading this compilation will broaden perspectives on the country’s socio-economic challenges and achievements. He also found important points of view on subjects related to agriculture and rural development.
Dr. Murugan congratulated the Publications Division for publishing these books and credited them for regularly bringing out books on various subjects of public interest. He mentioned that these books are the most authentic compilation of the President’s thoughts on various issues and will serve as a great resource for future generations.
After the event, the dignitaries presented a copy of the book to the President.
