Ranchi, Jharkhand – Union Minister and BJP Jharkhand Assembly election in-charge Shivraj Singh Chouhan has accused the Jharkhand government of corruption and failing to fulfill election promises. Speaking at a press conference, Chouhan outlined the BJP’s plans for the upcoming assembly elections, aiming to free Jharkhand from bad governance.

BJP’s Action Plan

Chouhan emphasized that the BJP team, led by Babulal Marandi, is confident and prepared to win the elections. He criticized the current JMM-Congress government, calling it the most corrupt in the nation and accusing it of not delivering on promises such as government jobs and unemployment allowances.

Financial Mismanagement

Chouhan questioned the allocation and use of funds in Jharkhand, highlighting that Rs 21,055 crore was allocated for various schemes, including Rs 1,111 crore for the MGNREGA scheme, but questioned the implementation of these funds.

Praise for BJP

Chouhan praised the BJP’s efforts and expressed gratitude to the public for their support in the Lok Sabha elections. He also mentioned plans to honor party workers for their contributions.

Environmental Initiatives

Earlier, Chouhan and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who is also co-in-charge of the Jharkhand Assembly elections, planted trees as part of the party’s ‘Ek ped maa ke naam’ drive.

Along with Jharkhand, Haryana, Maharashtra, and Jammu and Kashmir will also have Assembly polls. The current Jharkhand Legislative Assembly’s term ends in January 2025, and preparations for the elections are underway.
