Shivpal Yadav Confident in Tej Pratap Yadav’s Victory in Karhal Bypoll
As the bypolls for nine assembly constituencies in Uttar Pradesh approach, Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Yadav has expressed strong confidence in the party’s candidate, Tej Pratap Yadav, securing a win in the Karhal assembly constituency. He believes that the INDIA bloc will triumph across all contested seats. Shivpal Yadav stated, “Tej Pratap will emerge victorious with a significant margin… BJP will lose all nine seats, and INDIA bloc candidates will claim victory in each.”
Tej Pratap Yadav is contesting from the Karhal assembly constituency, with the bypoll scheduled for November 13. On October 25, SP chief and MP Akhilesh Yadav also voiced his confidence in Tej Pratap Yadav’s success, predicting a historic result for the Samajwadi Party. Akhilesh Yadav remarked, “The people of Karhal will support Tej Pratap ji not only in this election but also in the 2027 elections. There will be a historic outcome for the Samajwadi Party, and BJP will face a historic defeat. The BJP creates mere hype; they did it in the Lok Sabha elections but failed… What can you expect from a government that makes no arrangements?”
The poll commission has scheduled bypolls on November 13 for nine of the 10 vacant assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, excluding Milkipur in Ayodhya district. The bypolls will be held in nine seats, including Meerapur, Kundarki, Ghaziabad, Khair, Karhal, Phulpur, and Katehari. The counting of votes is set for November 23.
