Shiv Sena Leader Sanjay Nirupam Urges No Politics Over Baba Siddique’s Murder
In Mumbai, Maharashtra, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam has called on opposition parties to avoid politicizing the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique. Nirupam emphasized that the state government is treating the case as a significant challenge. He stated, “The way Baba Siddique was murdered is a matter of concern. The government has taken it as a challenge.”
Nirupam also mentioned that judging the state’s law and order based on a single incident is an exaggeration. He urged everyone to support the government and the police, who are seriously investigating the case.
Baba Siddique was shot outside his office in Nirmal Nagar and succumbed to his injuries at Lilavati Hospital. The Esplanade Court in Mumbai has sent Pravin Lonkar, the third accused in the murder case, to police custody until October 21. Lonkar is the brother of Shubham Lonkar, also involved in the conspiracy. They allegedly recruited Dharmaraj Kashyap and Shivkumar Gautam to carry out the murder.
The accused revealed that Siddique’s son, Zeeshan, was also a target. The shooters were contracted to kill both Baba and Zeeshan Siddique. Zeeshan had received threats days before the incident.
