In Test cricket, he accumulated 2,315 runs in 34 matches, averaging 40.6, with seven centuries and five half-centuries. In T20 Internationals (T20Is), he made 68 appearances, scoring 1,759 runs at an average of 27.9, including 11 fifties.
In domestic cricket, Dhawan played 122 First-Class matches, scoring 8,499 runs at an average of 44.26, with 25 centuries and 29 fifties. In List A cricket, he played 302 matches, amassing 12,074 runs at an average of 43.90, with 30 centuries and 67 half-centuries.
