Sheikh Saud Welcomes US-UAE Business Council to Ras Al Khaimah
On October 17, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, met with Robert Raines, the US Consul-General for Dubai and the Northern Emirates, and a delegation from the US-UAE Business Council led by President Danny E. Sebright. The meeting took place at the Movenpick Resort Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah.
They discussed enhancing trade and investment relations between Ras Al Khaimah and the US, aiming to strengthen cooperation and strategic partnerships across various sectors. The goal is to ensure ongoing progress and prosperity for both regions.

The briefing included senior executives from major US companies like Deloitte, General Motors, PwC, Boeing, and Oracle, as well as officials from the US Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate in Dubai. The US-UAE Business Council expressed gratitude for Sheikh Saud’s hospitality and praised the strong economic ties and investment opportunities in Ras Al Khaimah.
