Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed Visits Expo City Dubai for Relief Campaign
Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, visited the relief aid collection center at Expo City Dubai for the ‘UAE Stands with Lebanon’ campaign. This initiative, launched to support Lebanon during its ongoing crisis, aims to gather donations with the help of humanitarian organizations.
Leadership and Support
The campaign was initiated under the directives of Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and guided by Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan supervises the effort. During his visit, Sheikh Mansoor was joined by Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and learned about the volunteers’ efforts.
Volunteer Efforts
Over 4,000 volunteers have come together at Expo City Dubai to prepare more than 10,000 emergency relief kits. The campaign, which started last Tuesday, will continue until Monday, October 21, aiming to send urgent aid to Lebanon.

Sheikh Mansoor highlighted the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian values, emphasizing the importance of aiding nations in need. He noted the strong ties between the UAE and Lebanon, especially during challenging times.
Additional Collection Points
Besides Expo City Dubai, relief efforts will also take place at the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal and Expo Centre Sharjah on October 13 and 19, respectively. Dubai Cares is managing the collection with volunteers from various nationalities, alongside donors and business leaders.
