During the visit, several important agreements were signed:

  • Mutual Legal Assistance: Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, and Akbar Toshkulov, Uzbek Minister of Justice, signed an agreement to deepen cooperation in legal and judicial fields.
  • E-commerce: Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy, and Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, Uzbek Minister of Energy, signed an MoU to enhance cross-border trade through technological advancements.
  • Higher Education: Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Kungirotboy Sharipov, Uzbek Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, signed an MoU to foster knowledge exchange and develop educational standards.
  • Logistics and Free Zones: Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO of DP World, and Sharof Rakhmanov, Deputy Mayor of Tashkent, signed an MoU to develop free zones and logistics centres in Uzbekistan.
  • Smart City Development: Dawoud Al Hajri, Director-General of Dubai Municipality, and Umurzakov Shavkat Buranovich, Mayor of Tashkent, signed an MoU to design smart, sustainable cities.
  • Trade and Investment: Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, and Davron Vakhobov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, signed an MoU to enhance trade and investment opportunities.

Sheikh Hamdan held meetings with Uzbek leaders, including President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to discuss expanding bilateral relations. He also attended a knowledge exchange retreat in Tashkent to explore new opportunities for strategic partnerships.
