Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum Celebrates MBRU Class of 2024 Graduation in Dubai
Dubai, UAE – Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chancellor of the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Health, attended the graduation ceremony of MBRU at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Graduation Ceremony Highlights
The ceremony, held under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed, honored 153 graduates from 24 programs offered by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed College of Dental Medicine, the College of Medicine, the College of Nursing and Midwifery, and the Deanship of Graduate Medical Education. The Class of 2024 included nearly 40% young Emiratis and graduates from 27 different nationalities.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed emphasized the role of MBRU in fostering the next generation of medical professionals in Dubai, aligning with the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to establish Dubai as a global hub for healthcare and education. He congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future endeavors.
Dr. Raja Easa Al Gurg’s Welcome Address
Dr. Raja Easa Al Gurg, Chairperson of MBRU Council and Dubai Health Board Member, dedicated the achievement to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. She highlighted his visionary leadership and commitment to healthcare, which led to the founding of MBRU eight years ago.
Khalfan Belhoul’s Speech
Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, spoke about the importance of courage as the graduates begin their careers. He emphasized the impact of their work and the importance of navigating uncertainty with the right tools.
Amer Sharif’s Remarks
Amer Sharif, President of MBRU and CEO of Dubai Health, expressed pride in the graduates’ achievements and their readiness to take on leading roles both within the UAE and internationally. He highlighted the core values instilled in the students during their studies.

Meznah Ali Rasheed, a future physician, spoke about the commitment to prioritizing the well-being of others and the lessons learned during their studies. She encouraged her fellow graduates, stating that they are ready to face the future.
