New Delhi, India – BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla has criticized the dynastic politics of the INDIA bloc after DMK appointed Udhayanidhi Stalin as the Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Poonawalla accused the bloc of being a ‘parivarik company’ that prioritizes family over the nation.

Poonawalla stated, “These parties are of the family, for the family, and by the family. They focus on only family first, and not nation first. They are a Pvt Ltd ‘parivarik company’. The entire INDI alliance is like that. They have two pillars, ‘bhrashtachar’ and ‘parivaar’.”

He further alleged that members of the INDIA bloc were not concerned about the sons and daughters of others, citing examples like Lalu Prasad Yadav wanting Tejashwi, Sonia Gandhi wanting Rahul, and MK Stalin wanting Udhayanidhi.

Udhayanidhi Stalin, the newly appointed Deputy CM of Tamil Nadu, met with Chief Minister MK Stalin and received congratulatory wishes from senior state government leaders. Udhayanidhi, who is also the Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development, will now take on the portfolio of Planning and Development.

The cabinet reshuffle also includes the re-induction of Senthil Balaji into the Tamil Nadu cabinet. Chief Minister MK Stalin has recommended the induction of V Senthil Balaji, Dr. Govi Chezhiaan, R Rajendran, and SM Nasar into the Council of Ministers. The Governor has approved these recommendations, and the swearing-in ceremony will be held on September 29 at Raj Bhavan, Chennai.

Additionally, the Governor has approved the removal of Thiru T Mano Thangaraj, Thiru Gingee KSMasthan, and Thiru K Ramachandran from the Council of Ministers.

Earlier, on September 26, Senthil Balaji was released from Puzhal Central Prison in Chennai after the Supreme Court granted him bail in a money laundering case linked to a cash-for-jobs scam. Balaji had been in judicial custody since his arrest by the ED on June 14 last year.
