Shehzad Poonawalla Criticizes INDIA Bloc and MVA Ahead of Elections

New Delhi, India – BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla has criticized the INDIA bloc, stating that it lacks vision and is filled with confusion, especially in the states of Maharashtra and Jharkhand. He pointed out that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance is facing internal issues, while the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is smoothly distributing tickets for the upcoming elections.

Poonawalla highlighted that the BJP has already released a list of 66 candidates for the Jharkhand assembly elections, whereas the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has expressed dissatisfaction with the seat-sharing arrangements within the INDI alliance. He mentioned similar confusion in other states like Jammu, Punjab, and Haryana.

On the topic of Priyanka Gandhi contesting the by-elections in Wayanad, Kerala, Poonawalla suggested that Rahul Gandhi should apologize to the voters of Wayanad, as they had supported him after his loss in Amethi. He questioned whether Congress consulted their allies in Wayanad about Priyanka Gandhi’s candidacy, noting that the left party has also fielded a candidate.

Priyanka Gandhi, Congress General Secretary and United Democratic Front (UDF) candidate, is expected to file her nomination papers on October 23 for the Wayanad bypolls. The elections in Wayanad and the first phase of assembly polls in Jharkhand are scheduled for November 13.
