Sharjah Ruler Celebrates Morocco as Guest of Honour at Book Fair
On November 11, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, attended a special dinner to honor the Kingdom of Morocco as the guest of honour at the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF). The event took place at Al Nabooda House in the Heart of Sharjah area.
Upon arrival, Sheikh Sultan was welcomed by Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Book Authority, and Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, Morocco’s Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, along with other officials and guests.
In his speech, the Ruler of Sharjah expressed joy and gratitude for Morocco’s contributions, highlighting the valuable gifts and knowledge shared. He received greetings from King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid praised the successful organization of the book fair and emphasized Morocco’s efforts to make their participation memorable. The event concluded with an exchange of gifts and commemorative plaques, followed by group photos.
