A delegation from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) recently visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tunis (CCIT) and other economic institutions in Tunisia. The visit aimed to enhance joint work in key economic sectors and boost cooperation between private sector entities in both countries.

Key Meetings and Discussions

The delegation, which included Ibrahim Rashid Al Jarwan, Jamal Saeed Bouzanjal, and Sultan Abdullah Al Ali, met with Mohamed Monsif Ben Jomaa, President of CCIT, and other officials. They discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation, exchanging economic data, and exploring investment opportunities.

They also met with Tarek Cherif, President of the Tunisian Confederation of Citizen Enterprises (CONECT), to share insights on supporting entrepreneurs and SMEs.

Invitation to Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition ‘ACRES’

The delegation invited Tunisian real estate developers to participate in the upcoming Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition ‘ACRES’ at Expo Center Sharjah in early 2025. They toured various real estate companies in Tunisia, learning about environmentally friendly projects.

Her Excellency Dr. Eman Al Salami, UAE Ambassador to Tunisia, welcomed the delegation and was briefed on the visit’s objectives and outcomes. She emphasized the visit’s role in fostering economic and investment cooperation between the two nations.

Commitment to Cooperation

Ibrahim Rashid Al Jarwan highlighted SCCI’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with Tunisia across industrial and commercial levels. He noted the focus on exchanging delegations, organizing trade missions, and enhancing cooperation in the exhibition sector to attract investments and facilitate deals.
