Sharad Pawar’s Rainy Rally in Ichalkaranji Boosts Confidence for MVA Victory

In Ichalkaranji, Maharashtra, NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar delivered a speech in the rain, expressing confidence in the Maha Vikas Aghadi’s (MVA) success in the upcoming assembly elections. Pawar, 83, noted that rain during his speeches has historically led to positive election outcomes, referencing a similar event in Satara during the 2019 polls where NCP won. His commitment to addressing the crowd despite the rain was seen as a boost to the party’s momentum.

Earlier, Pawar criticized the Mahayuti government for worsening conditions for farmers, leading to suicides. The MVA, comprising NCP(SP), Congress, and Shiv Sena (UBT), is campaigning vigorously against the ruling Mahayuti for the 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra. The elections are scheduled for November 20, with results on November 23.
