India’s Victory in the Final

The Men in Blue won the T20 World Cup 2024 after beating South Africa by seven runs in Barbados. India won the toss and opted to bat first. Despite an early setback, a counter-attacking partnership between Virat Kohli (76) and Axar Patel (47) helped India reach 176/7 in their 20 overs. In response, South Africa was restricted to 169/8, thanks to the efforts of Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, and Hardik Pandya. Virat Kohli was named ‘Player of the Match’ for his performance.
