West Indies batters put on a sensational display of power-hitting to clinch their first win in the Super 8 of the ongoing T20 World Cup with a nine-wicket triumph over the USA at Kensington Oval.

Shai Hope, coming in place of injured Brandon King, went all guns blazing in the powerplay. Despite a tidy first over by Saurabh Netravalkar, Hope retaliated with a towering maximum off Nosthush Kenjige. However, West Indies swung the momentum by breaking the partnership, leading to a collapse in the USA batting order. A couple of boundaries from Ali Khan towards the end helped the USA reach 128.
