SG Pipers Launches in Hockey India League

PR Sreejesh Joins as Director of Hockey
Legendary Indian goalkeeper PR Sreejesh, known for his role in India’s Olympic successes, has been appointed as the Director of Hockey for SG Pipers. Sreejesh will also mentor young players, bringing his vast experience to the team.
Coaching Team
Former India men’s national team coach Graham Reid will lead the men’s team, while Dutch coach Dave Smolenaars will head the women’s team. Smolenaars is known for his success with the Netherlands’ junior women’s team.

With the HIL player auction approaching, SG Pipers plans to announce more developments soon. The league will feature eight men’s and six women’s teams, playing from December 2024 to February 2025 in Ranchi and Rourkela.
