Security Forces Stop Attack in Balochistan

In the Zhob District of Balochistan, Pakistan’s security forces successfully thwarted an attack on a Frontier Corps post. Two terrorists, including a suicide bomber, were killed in the operation. The military’s media wing, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), reported that one of the terrorists, Umar alias Umari, was involved in numerous attacks against security forces and civilians, including a recent attack on a Deputy Commissioner’s convoy.

Following the attack, an intense exchange of fire occurred between the military and the terrorists. The ISPR stated that the attempt to enter the camp was effectively stopped, preventing any intended damage. A sanitisation operation is currently underway to neutralise any remaining threats in the area.

The ISPR emphasized that Pakistan’s security forces, alongside the nation, are committed to maintaining peace and stability in Balochistan. The sacrifices of the brave soldiers further strengthen their resolve.

Earlier, six Pakistani soldiers, including a lieutenant colonel, were killed in a gun battle with terrorists in North Waziristan’s Spinwam area. The exchange of fire took place on the night between October 4-5.
