In Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, India, security forces successfully conducted an operation against Naxals, recovering the bodies of three Naxals, including a platoon commander with a bounty of Rs 8 lakh. The encounter took place on November 8 in the forested hills of Rekhapalli-Komathpalli, at the tri-junction of Usoor-Basaguda-Pamed.

Inspector General of Police (Bastar Range) Sundarraj P confirmed the recovery of the bodies and a large cache of weapons, including a self-loading rifle (SLR), a sniper weapon, and several other rifles.
