Search Operations at AAP MP Sanjeev Arora’s Premises

On October 7, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament (MP) Sanjeev Arora confirmed that his premises were being searched by agencies. Arora, expressing his willingness to cooperate, stated, “I am a law-abiding citizen, am not sure about the reason for search operation, will cooperate fully with agencies and make sure all their queries are answered.”

Criticism from AAP Leaders

AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh criticized the search, accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of using fake cases against AAP. Singh alleged that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is targeting the party continuously. He stated, “Another morning, another raid. ED officials have reached AAP MP Sanjeev Arora’s house. Modi ji’s fake case-making machine is after the Aam Aadmi Party 24 hours a day.”

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, also criticized the BJP, mentioning previous raids on AAP leaders’ homes, including Arvind Kejriwal and Sanjay Singh, where nothing was found. Sisodia remarked, “These people will go to any extent to break the Aam Aadmi Party. But no matter how much they try, the Aam Aadmi Party people will neither stop, nor sell themselves, nor get scared.”

Awaiting Official Statement

The agency has not yet released an official statement regarding the search operations.
