SDRF Searches for Boy Who Drowned in Rajouri River Amid Heavy Rainfall

The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has started a search operation after a young boy drowned in the overflowing river at Manjakote in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. The search operation began at 5:30 am, but the boy’s body has not yet been found, according to SDRF Team Incharge Mohd Nasser Kamlak.

Heavy rainfall has been affecting the region, and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted brief showers at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir tonight. Additionally, the IMD forecasts fresh spells of rain in most places in Jammu and Kashmir from September 2 to 3 and another spell on September 7 and 8.
