Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, is visiting India from November 12-13. He will arrive at the Air Force Station in Palam, Delhi, and meet with India’s External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, at Hyderabad House.

Recent Diplomatic Engagements

Earlier, on November 1, India’s Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, visited Saudi Arabia. He participated in the 8th Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) and emphasized the importance of international partnerships and economic diplomacy. Goyal encouraged global investors to explore opportunities in India, especially in sectors like artificial intelligence, renewable energy, and digital infrastructure.

India-Saudi Strategic Partnership

Goyal also co-chaired the 2nd Ministerial Meeting of the Economy and Investment Committee under the India-Saudi Strategic Partnership Council with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al-Saud. This council was established in 2019 after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Saudi Arabia. The meeting reviewed progress in areas such as agriculture, energy, technology, and industry, highlighting the strengthening economic ties between the two nations.
