In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Deputy Minister of Media Khalid bin Abdulqader Al-Ghamdi praised the significant contributions of the 20.6 million Indians residing in the country. This statement was made during the launch of the ‘global harmony’ initiative, part of the ‘Quality of Life’ Program aimed at achieving Vision 2030 goals.
Riyadh Season Highlights
The Riyadh season, which began on October 13, showcases the cultures of 11 countries, including India, over 45 days. The events feature concerts, cultural and family activities, traditional foods, and handicraft exhibitions.

Al-Ghamdi emphasized the importance of the relationship with India, noting improvements in economic and cultural cooperation aligned with Vision 2030. He highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visits to Saudi Arabia in 2016 and 2019 as evidence of the strong ties between the two nations.

The Ministry of Media, in collaboration with the General Entertainment Authority, organized events to promote cultural and artistic activities. Al-Ghamdi stated that the initiative aims to demonstrate the harmonious living of residents in Saudi society.
