In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Deputy Minister of Media Khalid bin Abdulqader Al-Ghamdi has praised the contributions of the Indian community in the country. The Riyadh season, which began on October 13, features events and activities representing the cultures of 11 countries, including India, over 45 days. These activities include concerts, cultural and family events, traditional foods, and handicraft exhibitions.

With 2.6 million Indians residing in Saudi Arabia, Al-Ghamdi emphasized the importance of the relationship between the two countries. He noted the improvement in cooperation across various sectors, aligning with Vision 2030 and India’s long-term projects.

Al-Ghamdi also highlighted the visits of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Saudi Arabia in 2016 and 2019, underscoring the strong ties between the nations. The Ministry of Media, in collaboration with the General Entertainment Authority, has organized cultural, artistic, and folkloric events to showcase the harmony among residents in Saudi society.
