In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Deputy Minister of Media Khalid bin Abdulqader Al-Ghamdi praised the significant contributions of the 20.6 million Indians residing in the country. This acknowledgment came during the launch of the ‘global harmony’ initiative, part of the ‘Quality of Life’ Program aimed at achieving Vision 2030 goals.

Riyadh Season: A Cultural Extravaganza

The Riyadh season, which began on October 13, showcases the cultures of 11 countries, including India, over 45 days. The event features concerts, cultural and family events, traditional foods, and handicraft exhibitions.

Strengthening Saudi-India Relations

Al-Ghamdi emphasized the importance of the relationship between Saudi Arabia and India, noting improvements in economic and cultural cooperation. He highlighted the visits of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Saudi Arabia in 2016 and 2019 as evidence of the strong ties between the two nations.

The Ministry of Media, in collaboration with the General Entertainment Authority, has organized various cultural, artistic, and folkloric activities to promote harmony among residents in Saudi Arabia.
