After being released on bail from Tihar Jail, Satyendra Jain, former Minister of Delhi, criticized the BJP-led central government. He accused the government of leading the country towards dishonesty and punishing those who oppose it. Jain cited his arrest as an attempt to halt initiatives like the Mohalla Clinic. He questioned the country’s GDP claims, highlighting economic disparities. His wife, Poonam Jain, expressed gratitude for the support they received. Sweets were distributed outside the jail to celebrate his release. Jain was granted bail by the Rouse Avenue Court in a money laundering case, with no special conditions attached. AAP leader Sanjay Singh praised Jain for his contributions to Delhi’s healthcare. Jain was arrested in May 2022 and spent 873 days in jail, losing 36 kg during his incarceration.
