In Wayanad, Kerala, the political scene is heating up as the Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidate, Satyan Mokeri, criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for causing bye-elections by vacating his Wayanad seat. Mokeri accused Congress of fearing the election outcome, as they predict a 5-6 lakh majority for Priyanka Gandhi, their new candidate.

Wayanad will vote on November 13, alongside bye-elections in 47 assembly seats across 15 states, and the first phase of assembly polls in Jharkhand.
