Soorma Hockey Club Joins Revamped Hockey India League
Soorma Hockey Club, owned by JSW Sports, is set to make a mark in the revamped Hockey India League (HIL) with Indian hockey legends Sardar Singh and Rani Rampal at the helm. Sardar Singh will serve as the Men’s Mentor and Indian Coach, while Rani Rampal will take on the role of Women’s Mentor and Indian Coach.
Coaching Team
The Men’s team will also feature International Coach Jeroen Baart, Analytical Coach Michael Cosma, and Technical Consultant Arjun Halappa. The Women’s team will be guided by International Coach Jude Menezes, Assistant Coach Harvinder Singh, and Analytical Coach Sean Dancer.

Upcoming League Details
The HIL 2024-25 will feature 8 men’s teams and 6 women’s teams, marking the first standalone women’s league in India. Matches will be held in Ranchi and Rourkela, with the league starting on December 28, 2024.
