Sanjay Raut Accuses Modi and Shah of Betraying Shiv Sena
In Mumbai, ahead of the Maharashtra assembly elections, Sanjay Raut, a leader from Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah of betraying Balasaheb Thackeray’s Shiv Sena. Raut criticized Modi and Shah for allegedly selling Shiv Sena to Eknath Shinde, who he claims had no role in the party’s formation. He dismissed the BJP’s election surveys, recalling a previous survey predicting over 400 seats for BJP in the Lok Sabha elections.
Union Home Minister Shah, during an election rally, challenged Uddhav Thackeray to have Rahul Gandhi praise Savarkar and Balasaheb Thackeray. Shah accused Thackeray of aligning with leaders who opposed the Ram Mandir construction and insulted Veer Savarkar.
