New Delhi, September 9: Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar praised India’s para-athletes for their outstanding performance at the Paris Paralympics. The Indian team concluded the event with a record 29 medals, including seven golds, nine silvers, and 13 bronzes, marking India’s best-ever Paralympics performance.
India’s previous record was 19 medals at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. This year, India finished 18th overall. Tendulkar expressed his admiration on X, congratulating the athletes, administrators, and support staff.
