Tendulkar shared on his official X account that Akshar Patel’s ‘brilliant catch’ at the boundary to dismiss Mitchell Marsh and Jasprit Bumrah’s wicket of Travis Head were pivotal in India’s win. Australia won the toss and chose to bowl first. Indian captain Rohit Sharma played an outstanding innings, scoring 32 runs from 41 balls with 7 fours and 8 sixes, leading India to a total of 205/5.
