Ruturaj Gaikwad Shines in ICC Men’s T20I Rankings After Stellar Performance
India’s Ruturaj Gaikwad climbed 13 places to enter the top 10 in the ICC Men’s T20I Batting Rankings after scoring 77* off 47 balls in the second T20I against Zimbabwe. Gaikwad’s performance helped him jump from 20th to 7th place.
With many of India’s top players rested for the Zimbabwe tour, back-up players like Rinku Singh and Abhishek Sharma had the chance to shine. Rinku moved up four places to 39th after scoring 48* from 22 balls, while Abhishek entered the rankings at 75th with a stunning 100 from 47 balls.
Zimbabwe’s Brian Bennett also made gains, moving up 25 places to 96th after two strong performances. In the bowling rankings, Adam Zampa, Fazalhaq Farooqi, and Maheesh Theekshana moved into the top 10, while Ravi Bishnoi climbed to 14th place. Blessing Muzarabani rose to 55th after a strong showing in the first T20I.
Wanindu Hasaranga became the top all-rounder, with Hardik Pandya in second place. India’s Washington Sundar entered the top 50 with his all-round performance in the series.
