Rushan Abbas Speaks Out on Uyghur Genocide at International Day of Victims of Violence Webinar
On the fifth annual International Day of Victims of Acts of Violence Based on Religion or Belief, Rushan Abbas, founder and executive director of Campaign for Uyghur, participated in a webinar titled ‘Prisoners of Conscience: Violence and Detention and Violence in Detention.’
Rushan Abbas shared a harrowing account of the Uyghur Genocide against the Muslim Uyghur people in East Turkistan, perpetrated by CCP-controlled China. She highlighted the personal impact, including the unjust imprisonment of her sister, Gulshan Abbas, by the regime.
