Rohit Sharma’s Amazing 92 Runs Against Australia in T20 World Cup

In a thrilling match at St Lucia, India batter Suryakumar Yadav watched in awe as Rohit Sharma played an incredible innings against Australia in the Super 8 of the T20 World Cup. Rohit scored 92 runs off just 41 balls, leaving the Australian bowlers struggling to keep up.

After Rishabh Pant was out in the 8th over, Suryakumar had the best seat in the house to witness Rohit’s spectacular performance. Suryakumar said, “Felt like a dream (watching Rohit Sharma bat), he batted beautifully. We sat together and talked about it before the game and he (Rohit) showed us the way.”

Rohit seemed determined to take revenge for India’s loss to Australia in the ODI World Cup final last year. His 92 runs are the highest score for him in the tournament’s history and the highest individual score in the current edition.

The highlight of Rohit’s innings was the third over against Mitchell Starc, where he scored 29 runs. Rohit hit sixes and fours with ease, leaving Starc and the Australian team stunned. Starc managed to get Rohit out with a yorker, but not before Rohit had done significant damage.
