Rohit Sharma May Miss Part of Border-Gavaskar Trophy Series Against Australia

Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma might not participate in some matches of the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia, starting November 22. This is due to personal reasons, though the exact number of matches he will miss is unclear. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not yet released an official statement regarding Rohit’s availability.

Previously, during India’s home series against England earlier this year, Virat Kohli missed the entire series due to the birth of his second child with his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma.

Rohit Sharma has played seven Test matches in Australia, scoring 408 runs in 14 innings with an average of 31.38, including three half-centuries. Against Australia, he has played 12 Tests, accumulating 708 runs at an average of 33.71, with a top score of 120.
