Rohit Sharma Leads Team India to T20 World Cup Victory and Announces Mumbai Victory Parade
The Maharashtra legislative council has congratulated the Indian cricket team, led by Rohit Sharma, for their remarkable win in the T20 World Cup. The Men in Blue triumphed over South Africa by seven runs in the final, securing their second ICC Men’s T20 World Cup title.
Deputy Chairperson of the Council, Neelam Gorhe, read out the resolution before it was passed. Rohit Sharma shared a special message with Indian fans, inviting them to a victory parade at Marine Drive and Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday to celebrate the team’s success.

Earlier, the T20 World Cup-winning team departed from Barbados on a special Air India flight after being stranded due to Hurricane Beryl’s impact. The team is expected to land in New Delhi on Thursday.
