Rohit Sharma and Dinesh Karthik Attend Wimbledon 2024 Semi-Final

India’s cricket captain Rohit Sharma and former wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik attended the first semi-final of Wimbledon 2024 at the centre court on Friday. The match was between Daniil Medvedev and Carlos Alcaraz.

Rohit Sharma’s Retirement

Rohit Sharma recently announced his retirement from T20 cricket after leading India to victory in the T20 World Cup. He is the highest run-scorer in T20 internationals with 4231 runs in 159 games and holds the record for most hundreds (five) in the format. He has won two T20 World Cups, one in 2007 as a player and the latest in 2024 as captain.

Wimbledon 2024 Semi-Final

In the semi-final match, Carlos Alcaraz defeated Daniil Medvedev 6-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the final. Alcaraz will face either Novak Djokovic or Lorenzo Musetti in the final match of Wimbledon 2024.

Dinesh Karthik’s Attendance

Dinesh Karthik attended the match with his wife Dipika Pallikal. Both Rohit Sharma and Dinesh Karthik were welcomed warmly at the event.
