Rohit Pawar Criticizes Mahayuti Government for Political Photos at Indian Cricket Team Celebration

Rohit Pawar, a leader from the Nationalist Congress Party, criticized the Mahayuti government for displaying photos of political leaders at the Chief Minister’s residence during a celebration for the Indian Cricket team’s T20 World Cup win. Pawar argued that the focus should have been on the players. He also mentioned that the last-minute planning of the event caused some inconvenience to the public.

The Indian team, led by captain Rohit Sharma, celebrated their victory with a parade and a ceremony in Mumbai. The team members, including Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and bowling coach, met Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who congratulated them with shawls and idols of Lord Ganesha.

India ended its 13-year ICC World Cup trophy drought with a historic victory in Barbados, defeating South Africa by 7 runs. Virat Kohli’s 76 runs and the bowling efforts of Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah were crucial in the win. Bumrah was named ‘Player of the Tournament’ for his outstanding performance.
