A deadly rocket attack in Majdal Shams, Golan Heights, resulted in the deaths of 12 people, including children and teenagers. Israel attributes the attack to Hezbollah. The IDF Chief of General Staff, Lt General Herzi Halevi, stated, ‘This is a Hezbollah rocket, and whoever launches such a rocket into a built-up area wants to kill civilians, wants to kill children.’

Meanwhile, Palestinians, including children, are evacuating the Bureij and Nuseirat refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip after the Israeli army issued new evacuation orders. The UN Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) reported that 86% of the Gaza Strip is currently under such orders. Many of those forced to leave have been displaced multiple times since last October.

In East Jerusalem, Israeli soldiers raided the al-Issawiya neighborhood, arresting a young man and injuring several Palestinians. The soldiers also stormed a medical center and sprayed waste water on homes and vehicles.

Since October 7, over 39,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 90,000 wounded in the ongoing conflict, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. In the most recent 24-hour period, 66 Palestinians were killed and 24 wounded.
