Rising Rajasthan Summit: Boosting Investments and Agriculture in India
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives like ‘Make in India’ and ‘Invest in India’ have attracted significant investments. Building on this, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma launched the Rising Rajasthan Summit to boost investments and create jobs. Rajasthan Kisan Aayog Chairperson CR Choudhary highlighted the state’s leading position in producing mustard, jawar, and oilseeds. He emphasized the development of food parks and the state’s improved Ease of Doing Business ranking. Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant called Rajasthan a prime example of the ‘More Crop Per Drop’ mission and advocated for the revival of the Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM).

Secretary Dr. Devesh Chaturvedi stressed viewing farmers as entrepreneurs and the importance of collaboration with the private sector. He highlighted digital farming’s benefits and the need for crop diversification. Secretary Rajan Vishal focused on productivity, procurement, processing, and popularization in agriculture. Secretary Dr. Samit Sharma emphasized opportunities in dairy and animal husbandry byproducts.

Progressive farmers shared their experiences, and 350 investors and speakers participated. Two plenary sessions discussed enhancing allied sectors and technological innovations. The Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024 will be held in Jaipur from December 9-11.
