Details of the Case

Pradeep Parashar was appointed as the district coordinator by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) to conduct the REET exam on September 26, 2021. He appointed an assistant, Ram Kripal Meena, without valid authorization, giving him access to the secure room where the exam papers were stored.

According to the ED, Parashar and Meena stole the question paper on the night of September 24, 2021, and circulated it to other individuals in exchange for money. The ED’s Jaipur Zonal Office arrested Parashar and produced him before a special PMLA court in Jaipur, which granted a three-day custody to the ED.

Earlier, the ED had arrested Parashar’s assistant, Ram Kripal Meena, and filed a Prosecution Complaint against him in the Special Court (PMLA), Jaipur.
