Rescue Efforts

Yogesh Kumar, Assistant Commander of NDRF, reported that 31 feet of ground have been dug parallel to the borewell and 12 feet horizontally. Despite the challenges posed by intermittent rain, the teams are making progress. The child is conscious, and efforts are being made to ensure her safety.

Local Authorities Involved

The rescue operation has seen the involvement of several local authorities. Dausa District Collector Devendra Kumar and Superintendent of Police Ranjita Sharma are on-site, coordinating the efforts. The Water Supply Department and local administration are also assisting.

Ranjita Sharma, SP of Dausa, emphasized the urgency of the situation, noting that the child has been in the borewell for over 15 hours. She mentioned that cameras are being used to monitor the child’s condition and movement. Devendra Kumar added that medical teams are on-site to provide oxygen to the child.

The collective efforts of the NDRF, SDRF, and local teams aim to rescue the girl as quickly and safely as possible.
