Reliance Jio Unveils JioBharat V3 and V4 at India Mobile Congress 2024
At the India Mobile Congress 2024, Reliance Jio introduced two new affordable 4G feature phones, the JioBharat V3 and V4. These phones are priced at Rs 1099 and come with a monthly recharge plan of Rs 123, offering unlimited voice calls and 14 GB of data. Jio claims this plan provides nearly 40% savings compared to other providers.
The JioBharat phones feature a 1000 mAh battery, 128 GB storage, and support 23 Indian languages. They come with exclusive Jio services like JioTV, JioCinema, JioPay, and JioChat. JioTV offers over 455 live TV channels, while JioCinema provides a variety of movies and sports content. JioPay facilitates digital payments with UPI integration, and JioChat allows for voice messaging, photo sharing, and group chats.
The phones will soon be available in mobile shops, JioMart, and Amazon. According to Reliance Industries’ 2024 report, JioBharat holds a 50% market share in the sub-Rs 1,000 segment, aiming to empower 250 million feature phone users in India.

During the event, Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm, thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his leadership, which has elevated the India Mobile Congress to a global platform for digital innovation. Ambani emphasized the synergy between government and industry in India, highlighting the country’s rise as the world’s largest data market and expressing confidence in India’s future success in 6G technology.
