In a thrilling match in the ICC T20 World Cup Super 8 stage, India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was awarded the Best Fielder medal for his outstanding performance. Jadeja took three incredible catches, helping India secure a win against Afghanistan.

Jadeja received the medal from head coach Rahul Dravid, and in a joyful moment, he even lifted Dravid in celebration. Jadeja’s catches included dismissals of Afghanistan’s Hazratullah Zazai, Mohammad Nabi, and Rashid Khan.

India’s victory was also bolstered by Suryakumar Yadav’s crucial partnership with Hardik Pandya, leading to a first-innings score of 181/8. Afghanistan was bowled out for 134, with Jasprit Bumrah taking three wickets for just 7 runs, and Arshdeep Singh also claiming three wickets.

Rohit Sharma’s team had to quickly adapt to the conditions in Bridgetown after playing their previous matches in the USA. This win sets a positive tone for their Super Eight campaign.
